THE PUNCH BREW CO

 

The Punch Brew Co have been producing Yorkshire and Lakeland Punch since 1992. Gregory Fildes (Managing Director) is the founder of the company. Greg and his staff produce the Punch with the herbs in each drink being indiginous of its area. We continue to sell and exhibit across the country at major Food Shows and Exhibitions. 

In the early 1930's Gregs Uncle Wilfred joined the monastic order of Carthusians, spending many years at Chartreuse in Southern France. His letters to his brother (Gregs Grandad) were treasured momentos which were kept for prosperity. In one of these letters he gave a recipe of herbs described as 'health giving and soothing' which were part of their historic remedies.

Greg discovered this letter and the secret procedure to produce this drink and hence began to develop it in the early 1990s.
